CVE-2018-6799 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick 2019-06-29 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
The AcquireCacheNexus function in magick/pixel_cache.c in GraphicsMagick before 1.3.28 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap overwrite) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted image file, because a pixel staging area is not used.
CVE-2017-15930 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick 2019-06-29 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
In ReadOneJNGImage in coders/png.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26, a Null Pointer Dereference occurs while transferring JPEG scanlines, related to a PixelPacket pointer.
CVE-2017-12935 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick 2019-06-29 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
The ReadMNGImage function in coders/png.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 mishandles large MNG images, leading to an invalid memory read in the SetImageColorCallBack function in magick/image.c.
CVE-2017-12936 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick 2019-06-29 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
The ReadWMFImage function in coders/wmf.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 has a use-after-free issue for data associated with exception reporting.
CVE-2018-6192 2 Artifex, Debian 2 Mupdf, Debian Linux 2019-06-28 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
In Artifex MuPDF 1.12.0, the pdf_read_new_xref function in pdf/pdf-xref.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation violation and application crash) via a crafted pdf file.
CVE-2018-10858 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 5 more 2019-06-26 6.5 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
A heap-buffer overflow was found in the way samba clients processed extra long filename in a directory listing. A malicious samba server could use this flaw to cause arbitrary code execution on a samba client. Samba versions before 4.6.16, 4.7.9 and 4.8.4 are vulnerable.
CVE-2017-7653 2 Debian, Eclipse 2 Debian Linux, Mosquitto 2019-06-20 3.5 LOW 5.3 MEDIUM
The Eclipse Mosquitto broker up to version 1.4.15 does not reject strings that are not valid UTF-8. A malicious client could cause other clients that do reject invalid UTF-8 strings to disconnect themselves from the broker by sending a topic string which is not valid UTF-8, and so cause a denial of service for the clients.
CVE-2017-7613 3 Canonical, Debian, Elfutils Project 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Elfutils 2019-06-19 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
elflint.c in elfutils 0.168 does not validate the number of sections and the number of segments, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a crafted ELF file.
CVE-2018-1000164 2 Debian, Gunicorn 2 Debian Linux, Gunicorn 2019-06-19 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
gunicorn version 19.4.5 contains a CWE-113: Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers vulnerability in "process_headers" function in "gunicorn/http/wsgi.py" that can result in an attacker causing the server to return arbitrary HTTP headers. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in 19.5.0.
CVE-2015-8036 5 Arm, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Mbed Tls, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2019-06-19 6.8 MEDIUM N/A
Heap-based buffer overflow in ARM mbed TLS (formerly PolarSSL) 1.3.x before 1.3.14 and 2.x before 2.1.2 allows remote SSL servers to cause a denial of service (client crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a long session ticket name to the session ticket extension, which is not properly handled when creating a ClientHello message to resume a session. NOTE: this identifier was SPLIT from CVE-2015-5291 per ADT3 due to different affected version ranges.
CVE-2015-5291 5 Arm, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 6 Mbed Tls, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2019-06-19 6.8 MEDIUM N/A
Heap-based buffer overflow in PolarSSL 1.x before 1.2.17 and ARM mbed TLS (formerly PolarSSL) 1.3.x before 1.3.14 and 2.x before 2.1.2 allows remote SSL servers to cause a denial of service (client crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a long hostname to the server name indication (SNI) extension, which is not properly handled when creating a ClientHello message. NOTE: this identifier has been SPLIT per ADT3 due to different affected version ranges. See CVE-2015-8036 for the session ticket issue that was introduced in 1.3.0.
CVE-2018-1000005 3 Canonical, Debian, Haxx 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl 2019-06-18 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
libcurl 7.49.0 to and including 7.57.0 contains an out bounds read in code handling HTTP/2 trailers. It was reported (https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/2231) that reading an HTTP/2 trailer could mess up future trailers since the stored size was one byte less than required. The problem is that the code that creates HTTP/1-like headers from the HTTP/2 trailer data once appended a string like `:` to the target buffer, while this was recently changed to `: ` (a space was added after the colon) but the following math wasn't updated correspondingly. When accessed, the data is read out of bounds and causes either a crash or that the (too large) data gets passed to client write. This could lead to a denial-of-service situation or an information disclosure if someone has a service that echoes back or uses the trailers for something.
