CVE-2017-18344 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat 9 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more 2020-10-15 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The timer_create syscall implementation in kernel/time/posix-timers.c in the Linux kernel before 4.14.8 doesn't properly validate the sigevent->sigev_notify field, which leads to out-of-bounds access in the show_timer function (called when /proc/$PID/timers is read). This allows userspace applications to read arbitrary kernel memory (on a kernel built with CONFIG_POSIX_TIMERS and CONFIG_CHECKPOINT_RESTORE).
CVE-2018-5683 4 Canonical, Debian, Qemu and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Qemu and 6 more 2020-10-15 2.1 LOW 6.0 MEDIUM
The vga_draw_text function in Qemu allows local OS guest privileged users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and QEMU process crash) by leveraging improper memory address validation.
CVE-2019-7221 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more 2020-10-15 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH

CVE-2017-13145 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick 2020-10-14 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
In ImageMagick before 6.9.8-8 and 7.x before 7.0.5-9, the ReadJP2Image function in coders/jp2.c does not properly validate the channel geometry, leading to a crash.
CVE-2017-13139 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick 2020-10-14 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
In ImageMagick before 6.9.9-0 and 7.x before 7.0.6-1, the ReadOneMNGImage function in coders/png.c has an out-of-bounds read with the MNG CLIP chunk.
CVE-2017-5669 3 Canonical, Debian, Linux 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2020-10-09 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
The do_shmat function in ipc/shm.c in the Linux kernel through 4.9.12 does not restrict the address calculated by a certain rounding operation, which allows local users to map page zero, and consequently bypass a protection mechanism that exists for the mmap system call, by making crafted shmget and shmat system calls in a privileged context.
CVE-2011-1783 5 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 2 more 5 Subversion, Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux and 2 more 2020-10-05 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
The mod_dav_svn module for the Apache HTTP Server, as distributed in Apache Subversion 1.5.x and 1.6.x before 1.6.17, when the SVNPathAuthz short_circuit option is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and memory consumption) in opportunistic circumstances by requesting data.
CVE-2011-1752 5 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 2 more 5 Subversion, Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux and 2 more 2020-10-05 5.0 MEDIUM N/A
The mod_dav_svn module for the Apache HTTP Server, as distributed in Apache Subversion before 1.6.17, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) via a request for a baselined WebDAV resource, as exploited in the wild in May 2011.
CVE-2015-8839 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel 2020-10-02 1.9 LOW 5.1 MEDIUM
Multiple race conditions in the ext4 filesystem implementation in the Linux kernel before 4.5 allow local users to cause a denial of service (disk corruption) by writing to a page that is associated with a different user's file after unsynchronized hole punching and page-fault handling.
CVE-2019-11034 6 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 3 more 2020-10-02 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
When processing certain files, PHP EXIF extension in versions 7.1.x below 7.1.28, 7.2.x below 7.2.17 and 7.3.x below 7.3.4 can be caused to read past allocated buffer in exif_process_IFD_TAG function. This may lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2019-11036 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2020-10-02 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
When processing certain files, PHP EXIF extension in versions 7.1.x below 7.1.29, 7.2.x below 7.2.18 and 7.3.x below 7.3.5 can be caused to read past allocated buffer in exif_process_IFD_TAG function. This may lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2019-11035 6 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 3 more 2020-10-02 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
When processing certain files, PHP EXIF extension in versions 7.1.x below 7.1.28, 7.2.x below 7.2.17 and 7.3.x below 7.3.4 can be caused to read past allocated buffer in exif_iif_add_value function. This may lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2018-8784 2 Canonical, Freerdp 2 Ubuntu Linux, Freerdp 2020-09-29 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
FreeRDP prior to version 2.0.0-rc4 contains a Heap-Based Buffer Overflow in function zgfx_decompress_segment() that results in a memory corruption and probably even a remote code execution.

CVE-2019-19067 3 Canonical, Linux, Opensuse 3 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Leap 2020-09-25 4.9 MEDIUM 4.4 MEDIUM
** DISPUTED ** Four memory leaks in the acp_hw_init() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu_acp.c in the Linux kernel before 5.3.8 allow attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering mfd_add_hotplug_devices() or pm_genpd_add_device() failures, aka CID-57be09c6e874. NOTE: third parties dispute the relevance of this because the attacker must already have privileges for module loading.
