CVE-2020-3867 | 3 Apple, Opensuse, Webkitgtk | 8 Icloud, Ipados, Iphone Os and 5 more | 2021-12-22 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
A logic issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1, tvOS 13.3.1, Safari 13.0.5, iTunes for Windows 12.10.4, iCloud for Windows 11.0, iCloud for Windows 7.17. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to universal cross site scripting.
CVE-2020-8118 | 3 Nextcloud, Novell, Opensuse | 3 Nextcloud Server, Suse Linux Enterprise Server, Backports Sle | 2021-12-22 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 5.0 MEDIUM |
An authenticated server-side request forgery in Nextcloud server 16.0.1 allowed to detect local and remote services when adding a new subscription in the calendar application.
CVE-2020-10135 | 2 Bluetooth, Opensuse | 2 Bluetooth Core, Leap | 2021-12-21 | 4.8 MEDIUM | 5.4 MEDIUM |
Legacy pairing and secure-connections pairing authentication in Bluetooth BR/EDR Core Specification v5.2 and earlier may allow an unauthenticated user to complete authentication without pairing credentials via adjacent access. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker could impersonate a Bluetooth BR/EDR master or slave to pair with a previously paired remote device to successfully complete the authentication procedure without knowing the link key.
CVE-2020-10690 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more | 33 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 30 more | 2021-12-20 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 6.4 MEDIUM |
There is a use-after-free in kernel versions before 5.5 due to a race condition between the release of ptp_clock and cdev while resource deallocation. When a (high privileged) process allocates a ptp device file (like /dev/ptpX) and voluntarily goes to sleep. During this time if the underlying device is removed, it can cause an exploitable condition as the process wakes up to terminate and clean all attached files. The system crashes due to the cdev structure being invalid (as already freed) which is pointed to by the inode.
CVE-2018-10907 | 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 2 more | 2021-12-16 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
It was found that glusterfs server is vulnerable to multiple stack based buffer overflows due to functions in server-rpc-fopc.c allocating fixed size buffers using 'alloca(3)'. An authenticated attacker could exploit this by mounting a gluster volume and sending a string longer that the fixed buffer size to cause crash or potential code execution.
CVE-2016-0746 | 5 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 5 Xcode, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 2 more | 2021-12-16 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Use-after-free vulnerability in the resolver in nginx 0.6.18 through 1.8.0 and 1.9.x before 1.9.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (worker process crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted DNS response related to CNAME response processing.
CVE-2016-0747 | 5 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 5 Xcode, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 2 more | 2021-12-16 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
The resolver in nginx before 1.8.1 and 1.9.x before 1.9.10 does not properly limit CNAME resolution, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (worker process resource consumption) via vectors related to arbitrary name resolution.
CVE-2019-5736 | 13 Apache, Canonical, D2iq and 10 more | 19 Mesos, Ubuntu Linux, Dc\/os and 16 more | 2021-12-16 | 9.3 HIGH | 8.6 HIGH |
runc through 1.0-rc6, as used in Docker before 18.09.2 and other products, allows attackers to overwrite the host runc binary (and consequently obtain host root access) by leveraging the ability to execute a command as root within one of these types of containers: (1) a new container with an attacker-controlled image, or (2) an existing container, to which the attacker previously had write access, that can be attached with docker exec. This occurs because of file-descriptor mishandling, related to /proc/self/exe.
CVE-2016-0742 | 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 6 Xcode, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more | 2021-12-15 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
The resolver in nginx before 1.8.1 and 1.9.x before 1.9.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid pointer dereference and worker process crash) via a crafted UDP DNS response.
CVE-2018-10930 | 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 4 more | 2021-12-10 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
A flaw was found in RPC request using gfs3_rename_req in glusterfs server. An authenticated attacker could use this flaw to write to a destination outside the gluster volume.
CVE-2020-1967 | 10 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 7 more | 26 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 23 more | 2021-12-10 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Server or client applications that call the SSL_check_chain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f).
CVE-2019-8906 | 4 Apple, Canonical, File Project and 1 more | 7 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 4 more | 2021-12-09 | 3.6 LOW | 4.4 MEDIUM |
do_core_note in readelf.c in libmagic.a in file 5.35 has an out-of-bounds read because memcpy is misused.
CVE-2019-8905 | 4 Canonical, Debian, File Project and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, File and 1 more | 2021-12-09 | 3.6 LOW | 4.4 MEDIUM |
do_core_note in readelf.c in libmagic.a in file 5.35 has a stack-based buffer over-read, related to file_printable, a different vulnerability than CVE-2018-10360.
CVE-2020-26116 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more | 2021-12-07 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 7.2 HIGH |
http.client in Python 3.x before 3.5.10, 3.6.x before 3.6.12, 3.7.x before 3.7.9, and 3.8.x before 3.8.5 allows CRLF injection if the attacker controls the HTTP request method, as demonstrated by inserting CR and LF control characters in the first argument of HTTPConnection.request.
CVE-2019-17041 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more | 2021-12-06 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
An issue was discovered in Rsyslog v8.1908.0. contrib/pmaixforwardedfrom/pmaixforwardedfrom.c has a heap overflow in the parser for AIX log messages. The parser tries to locate a log message delimiter (in this case, a space or a colon) but fails to account for strings that do not satisfy this constraint. If the string does not match, then the variable lenMsg will reach the value zero and will skip the sanity check that detects invalid log messages. The message will then be considered valid, and the parser will eat up the nonexistent colon delimiter. In doing so, it will decrement lenMsg, a signed integer, whose value was zero and now becomes minus one. The following step in the parser is to shift left the contents of the message. To do this, it will call memmove with the right pointers to the target and destination strings, but the lenMsg will now be interpreted as a huge value, causing a heap overflow.

CVE-2020-8622 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2021-12-02 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
In BIND 9.0.0 -> 9.11.21, 9.12.0 -> 9.16.5, 9.17.0 -> 9.17.3, also affects 9.9.3-S1 -> 9.11.21-S1 of the BIND 9 Supported Preview Edition, An attacker on the network path for a TSIG-signed request, or operating the server receiving the TSIG-signed request, could send a truncated response to that request, triggering an assertion failure, causing the server to exit. Alternately, an off-path attacker would have to correctly guess when a TSIG-signed request was sent, along with other characteristics of the packet and message, and spoof a truncated response to trigger an assertion failure, causing the server to exit.
CVE-2020-7070 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2021-12-02 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.34, 7.3.x below 7.3.23 and 7.4.x below 7.4.11, when PHP is processing incoming HTTP cookie values, the cookie names are url-decoded. This may lead to cookies with prefixes like __Host confused with cookies that decode to such prefix, thus leading to an attacker being able to forge cookie which is supposed to be secure. See also CVE-2020-8184 for more information. |
