CVE-2016-6515 | 2 Fedoraproject, Openbsd | 2 Fedora, Openssh | 2022-12-13 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
The auth_password function in auth-passwd.c in sshd in OpenSSH before 7.3 does not limit password lengths for password authentication, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crypt CPU consumption) via a long string.
CVE-2015-3195 | 9 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 6 more | 25 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 22 more | 2022-12-13 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
The ASN1_TFLG_COMBINE implementation in crypto/asn1/tasn_dec.c in OpenSSL before 0.9.8zh, 1.0.0 before 1.0.0t, 1.0.1 before 1.0.1q, and 1.0.2 before 1.0.2e mishandles errors caused by malformed X509_ATTRIBUTE data, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory by triggering a decoding failure in a PKCS#7 or CMS application.
CVE-2015-3196 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 10 more | 2022-12-13 | 4.3 MEDIUM | N/A |

CVE-2022-39346 | 2 Fedoraproject, Nextcloud | 3 Fedora, Nextcloud Enterprise Server, Nextcloud Server | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
Nextcloud server is an open source personal cloud server. Affected versions of nextcloud server did not properly limit user display names which could allow a malicious users to overload the backing database and cause a denial of service. It is recommended that the Nextcloud Server is upgraded to 22.2.10, 23.0.7 or 24.0.3. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-1632 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Ansible Automation Platform, Openshift Container Platform | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
An Improper Certificate Validation attack was found in Openshift. A re-encrypt Route with destinationCACertificate explicitly set to the default serviceCA skips internal Service TLS certificate validation. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit an invalid certificate, resulting in a loss of confidentiality.
CVE-2022-33745 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Xen | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Xen | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
insufficient TLB flush for x86 PV guests in shadow mode For migration as well as to work around kernels unaware of L1TF (see XSA-273), PV guests may be run in shadow paging mode. To address XSA-401, code was moved inside a function in Xen. This code movement missed a variable changing meaning / value between old and new code positions. The now wrong use of the variable did lead to a wrong TLB flush condition, omitting flushes where such are necessary.
CVE-2022-31799 | 3 Bottlepy, Debian, Fedoraproject | 3 Bottle, Debian Linux, Fedora | 2022-12-12 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Bottle before 0.12.20 mishandles errors during early request binding.
CVE-2022-42316 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Xen | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Xen | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
Xenstore: guests can let run xenstored out of memory T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] Malicious guests can cause xenstored to allocate vast amounts of memory, eventually resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) of xenstored. There are multiple ways how guests can cause large memory allocations in xenstored: - - by issuing new requests to xenstored without reading the responses, causing the responses to be buffered in memory - - by causing large number of watch events to be generated via setting up multiple xenstore watches and then e.g. deleting many xenstore nodes below the watched path - - by creating as many nodes as allowed with the maximum allowed size and path length in as many transactions as possible - - by accessing many nodes inside a transaction

CVE-2022-33748 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Xen | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Xen | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 5.6 MEDIUM |
lock order inversion in transitive grant copy handling As part of XSA-226 a missing cleanup call was inserted on an error handling path. While doing so, locking requirements were not paid attention to. As a result two cooperating guests granting each other transitive grants can cause locks to be acquired nested within one another, but in respectively opposite order. With suitable timing between the involved grant copy operations this may result in the locking up of a CPU.
CVE-2020-1045 | 3 Fedoraproject, Microsoft, Redhat | 6 Fedora, Asp.net Core, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2022-12-12 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A security feature bypass vulnerability exists in the way Microsoft ASP.NET Core parses encoded cookie names. The ASP.NET Core cookie parser decodes entire cookie strings which could allow a malicious attacker to set a second cookie with the name being percent encoded. The security update addresses the vulnerability by fixing the way the ASP.NET Core cookie parser handles encoded names., aka 'Microsoft ASP.NET Core Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability'.
CVE-2022-4170 | 2 Fedoraproject, Rxvt-unicode Project | 3 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Rxvt-unicode | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
The rxvt-unicode package is vulnerable to a remote code execution, in the Perl background extension, when an attacker can control the data written to the user's terminal and certain options are set.
CVE-2022-4122 | 2 Fedoraproject, Podman Project | 2 Fedora, Podman | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
A vulnerability was found in buildah. Incorrect following of symlinks while reading .containerignore and .dockerignore results in information disclosure.
CVE-2022-4123 | 2 Fedoraproject, Podman Project | 2 Fedora, Podman | 2022-12-12 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
A flaw was found in Buildah. The local path and the lowest subdirectory may be disclosed due to incorrect absolute path traversal, resulting in an impact to confidentiality.
CVE-2022-0847 | 7 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 4 more | 39 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 36 more | 2022-12-09 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system. |
