CVE-2022-39156 | 1 Siemens | 2 Parasolid, Simcenter Femap | 2022-09-13 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
A vulnerability has been identified in Parasolid V33.1 (All versions < V33.1.262), Parasolid V33.1 (All versions >= V33.1.262 < V33.1.263), Parasolid V34.0 (All versions < V34.0.252), Parasolid V34.1 (All versions < V34.1.242), Parasolid V35.0 (All versions < V35.0.161), Parasolid V35.0 (All versions >= V35.0.161 < V35.0.164), Simcenter Femap V2022.1 (All versions < V2022.1.3), Simcenter Femap V2022.2 (All versions < V2022.2.2). The affected application is vulnerable to out of bounds read past the end of an allocated buffer when parsing X_T files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-18196)
CVE-2021-25217 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 2 more | 25 Debian Linux, Fedora, Dhcp and 22 more | 2022-09-13 | 3.3 LOW | 7.4 HIGH |
In ISC DHCP 4.1-ESV-R1 -> 4.1-ESV-R16, ISC DHCP 4.4.0 -> 4.4.2 (Other branches of ISC DHCP (i.e., releases in the 4.0.x series or lower and releases in the 4.3.x series) are beyond their End-of-Life (EOL) and no longer supported by ISC. From inspection it is clear that the defect is also present in releases from those series, but they have not been officially tested for the vulnerability), The outcome of encountering the defect while reading a lease that will trigger it varies, according to: the component being affected (i.e., dhclient or dhcpd) whether the package was built as a 32-bit or 64-bit binary whether the compiler flag -fstack-protection-strong was used when compiling In dhclient, ISC has not successfully reproduced the error on a 64-bit system. However, on a 32-bit system it is possible to cause dhclient to crash when reading an improper lease, which could cause network connectivity problems for an affected system due to the absence of a running DHCP client process. In dhcpd, when run in DHCPv4 or DHCPv6 mode: if the dhcpd server binary was built for a 32-bit architecture AND the -fstack-protection-strong flag was specified to the compiler, dhcpd may exit while parsing a lease file containing an objectionable lease, resulting in lack of service to clients. Additionally, the offending lease and the lease immediately following it in the lease database may be improperly deleted. if the dhcpd server binary was built for a 64-bit architecture OR if the -fstack-protection-strong compiler flag was NOT specified, the crash will not occur, but it is possible for the offending lease and the lease which immediately followed it to be improperly deleted.
CVE-2020-26140 | 5 Alfa, Arista, Cisco and 2 more | 388 Awus036h, Awus036h Firmware, C-100 and 385 more | 2022-09-02 | 3.3 LOW | 6.5 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in the ALFA Windows 10 driver 6.1316.1209 for AWUS036H. The WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 implementations accept plaintext frames in a protected Wi-Fi network. An adversary can abuse this to inject arbitrary data frames independent of the network configuration.
CVE-2021-45117 | 2 Opcfoundation, Siemens | 4 Ua-nodeset, Simatic Net Pc, Sitop Manager and 1 more | 2022-09-02 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
The OPC autogenerated ANSI C stack stubs (in the NodeSets) do not handle all error cases. This can lead to a NULL pointer dereference.
CVE-2021-40142 | 2 Opcfoundation, Siemens | 8 Local Discover Server, Simatic Net Pc, Simatic Process Historian Opc Ua Server and 5 more | 2022-09-02 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
In OPC Foundation Local Discovery Server (LDS) before 1.04.402.463, remote attackers can cause a denial of service (DoS) by sending carefully crafted messages that lead to Access of a Memory Location After the End of a Buffer.
CVE-2021-22897 | 4 Haxx, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 29 Curl, Cloud Backup, H300e and 26 more | 2022-08-30 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
curl 7.61.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from exposure of data element to wrong session due to a mistake in the code for CURLOPT_SSL_CIPHER_LIST when libcurl is built to use the Schannel TLS library. The selected cipher set was stored in a single "static" variable in the library, which has the surprising side-effect that if an application sets up multiple concurrent transfers, the last one that sets the ciphers will accidentally control the set used by all transfers. In a worst-case scenario, this weakens transport security significantly.
CVE-2021-22898 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 11 Debian Linux, Fedora, Curl and 8 more | 2022-08-30 | 2.6 LOW | 3.1 LOW |
curl 7.7 through 7.76.1 suffers from an information disclosure when the `-t` command line option, known as `CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS` in libcurl, is used to send variable=content pairs to TELNET servers. Due to a flaw in the option parser for sending NEW_ENV variables, libcurl could be made to pass on uninitialized data from a stack based buffer to the server, resulting in potentially revealing sensitive internal information to the server using a clear-text network protocol.
CVE-2021-3449 | 12 Checkpoint, Debian, Fedoraproject and 9 more | 167 Multi-domain Management, Multi-domain Management Firmware, Quantum Security Gateway and 164 more | 2022-08-29 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An OpenSSL TLS server may crash if sent a maliciously crafted renegotiation ClientHello message from a client. If a TLSv1.2 renegotiation ClientHello omits the signature_algorithms extension (where it was present in the initial ClientHello), but includes a signature_algorithms_cert extension then a NULL pointer dereference will result, leading to a crash and a denial of service attack. A server is only vulnerable if it has TLSv1.2 and renegotiation enabled (which is the default configuration). OpenSSL TLS clients are not impacted by this issue. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 versions are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1j).
CVE-2020-1971 | 8 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 5 more | 46 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 43 more | 2022-08-29 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
The X.509 GeneralName type is a generic type for representing different types of names. One of those name types is known as EDIPartyName. OpenSSL provides a function GENERAL_NAME_cmp which compares different instances of a GENERAL_NAME to see if they are equal or not. This function behaves incorrectly when both GENERAL_NAMEs contain an EDIPARTYNAME. A NULL pointer dereference and a crash may occur leading to a possible denial of service attack. OpenSSL itself uses the GENERAL_NAME_cmp function for two purposes: 1) Comparing CRL distribution point names between an available CRL and a CRL distribution point embedded in an X509 certificate 2) When verifying that a timestamp response token signer matches the timestamp authority name (exposed via the API functions TS_RESP_verify_response and TS_RESP_verify_token) If an attacker can control both items being compared then that attacker could trigger a crash. For example if the attacker can trick a client or server into checking a malicious certificate against a malicious CRL then this may occur. Note that some applications automatically download CRLs based on a URL embedded in a certificate. This checking happens prior to the signatures on the certificate and CRL being verified. OpenSSL's s_server, s_client and verify tools have support for the "-crl_download" option which implements automatic CRL downloading and this attack has been demonstrated to work against those tools. Note that an unrelated bug means that affected versions of OpenSSL cannot parse or construct correct encodings of EDIPARTYNAME. However it is possible to construct a malformed EDIPARTYNAME that OpenSSL's parser will accept and hence trigger this attack. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 versions are affected by this issue. Other OpenSSL releases are out of support and have not been checked. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1i (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1h). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2x (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2w).
CVE-2021-22924 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 3 more | 52 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libcurl and 49 more | 2022-08-28 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 3.7 LOW |
libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequenttransfers to reuse, if one of them matches the setup.Due to errors in the logic, the config matching function did not take 'issuercert' into account and it compared the involved paths *case insensitively*,which could lead to libcurl reusing wrong connections.File paths are, or can be, case sensitive on many systems but not all, and caneven vary depending on used file systems. The comparison also didn't include the 'issuer cert' which a transfer can setto qualify how to verify the server certificate.
CVE-1999-0017 | 9 Caldera, Freebsd, Gnu and 6 more | 11 Openlinux, Freebsd, Inet and 8 more | 2022-08-17 | 7.5 HIGH | N/A |
