CVE-2021-21351 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Banking Enterprise Default Management and 10 more 2022-02-16 6.5 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is a vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to load and execute arbitrary code from a remote host only by manipulating the processed input stream. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16.

CVE-2021-21344 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Banking Enterprise Default Management and 10 more 2022-02-16 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL

CVE-2021-21343 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Banking Enterprise Default Management and 9 more 2022-02-16 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is a vulnerability where the processed stream at unmarshalling time contains type information to recreate the formerly written objects. XStream creates therefore new instances based on these type information. An attacker can manipulate the processed input stream and replace or inject objects, that result in the deletion of a file on the local host. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16.
CVE-2020-25686 4 Arista, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Eos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2022-02-14 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
A flaw was found in dnsmasq before version 2.83. When receiving a query, dnsmasq does not check for an existing pending request for the same name and forwards a new request. By default, a maximum of 150 pending queries can be sent to upstream servers, so there can be at most 150 queries for the same name. This flaw allows an off-path attacker on the network to substantially reduce the number of attempts that it would have to perform to forge a reply and have it accepted by dnsmasq. This issue is mentioned in the "Birthday Attacks" section of RFC5452. If chained with CVE-2020-25684, the attack complexity of a successful attack is reduced. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data integrity.
CVE-2020-25684 4 Arista, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 4 Eos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more 2022-02-14 4.3 MEDIUM 3.7 LOW
A flaw was found in dnsmasq before version 2.83. When getting a reply from a forwarded query, dnsmasq checks in the forward.c:reply_query() if the reply destination address/port is used by the pending forwarded queries. However, it does not use the address/port to retrieve the exact forwarded query, substantially reducing the number of attempts an attacker on the network would have to perform to forge a reply and get it accepted by dnsmasq. This issue contrasts with RFC5452, which specifies a query's attributes that all must be used to match a reply. This flaw allows an attacker to perform a DNS Cache Poisoning attack. If chained with CVE-2020-25685 or CVE-2020-25686, the attack complexity of a successful attack is reduced. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data integrity.
CVE-2021-38010 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Google 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Chrome 2022-02-11 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Inappropriate implementation in service workers in Google Chrome prior to 96.0.4664.45 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2021-45116 2 Djangoproject, Fedoraproject 2 Django, Fedora 2022-02-10 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Django 2.2 before 2.2.26, 3.2 before 3.2.11, and 4.0 before 4.0.1. Due to leveraging the Django Template Language's variable resolution logic, the dictsort template filter was potentially vulnerable to information disclosure, or an unintended method call, if passed a suitably crafted key.
CVE-2021-45452 2 Djangoproject, Fedoraproject 2 Django, Fedora 2022-02-10 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
Storage.save in Django 2.2 before 2.2.26, 3.2 before 3.2.11, and 4.0 before 4.0.1 allows directory traversal if crafted filenames are directly passed to it.
CVE-2021-43860 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Flatpak and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Flatpak and 1 more 2022-02-10 6.8 MEDIUM 8.6 HIGH
Flatpak is a Linux application sandboxing and distribution framework. Prior to versions 1.12.3 and 1.10.6, Flatpak doesn't properly validate that the permissions displayed to the user for an app at install time match the actual permissions granted to the app at runtime, in the case that there's a null byte in the metadata file of an app. Therefore apps can grant themselves permissions without the consent of the user. Flatpak shows permissions to the user during install by reading them from the "xa.metadata" key in the commit metadata. This cannot contain a null terminator, because it is an untrusted GVariant. Flatpak compares these permissions to the *actual* metadata, from the "metadata" file to ensure it wasn't lied to. However, the actual metadata contents are loaded in several places where they are read as simple C-style strings. That means that, if the metadata file includes a null terminator, only the content of the file from *before* the terminator gets compared to xa.metadata. Thus, any permissions that appear in the metadata file after a null terminator are applied at runtime but not shown to the user. So maliciously crafted apps can give themselves hidden permissions. Users who have Flatpaks installed from untrusted sources are at risk in case the Flatpak has a maliciously crafted metadata file, either initially or in an update. This issue is patched in versions 1.12.3 and 1.10.6. As a workaround, users can manually check the permissions of installed apps by checking the metadata file or the xa.metadata key on the commit metadata.
CVE-2022-23132 2 Fedoraproject, Zabbix 2 Fedora, Zabbix 2022-02-10 7.5 HIGH 7.3 HIGH
During Zabbix installation from RPM, DAC_OVERRIDE SELinux capability is in use to access PID files in [/var/run/zabbix] folder. In this case, Zabbix Proxy or Server processes can bypass file read, write and execute permissions check on the file system level
CVE-2021-45930 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Qt 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Qtsvg 2022-02-10 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
Qt SVG in Qt 5.0.0 through 5.15.2 and 6.0.0 through 6.2.1 has an out-of-bounds write in QtPrivate::QCommonArrayOps<QPainterPath::Element>::growAppend (called from QPainterPath::addPath and QPathClipper::intersect).
