CVE-2018-7562 | 1 Glpi-project | 1 Glpi | 2018-04-11 | 6.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A remote code execution issue was discovered in GLPI through 9.2.1. There is a race condition that allows temporary access to an uploaded executable file that will be disallowed. The application allows an authenticated user to upload a file when he/she creates a new ticket via front/fileupload.php. This feature is protected using different types of security features like the check on the file's extension. However, the application uploads and creates a file, though this file is not allowed, and then deletes the file in the uploadFiles method in inc/glpiuploaderhandler.class.php.

CVE-2018-7998 | 2 Debian, Libvips Project | 2 Debian Linux, Libvips | 2018-03-27 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
In libvips before 8.6.3, a NULL function pointer dereference vulnerability was found in the vips_region_generate function in region.c, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted image file. This occurs because of a race condition involving a failed delayed load and other worker threads.
CVE-2018-7249 | 2 Microsoft, Tivo | 5 Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and 2 more | 2018-03-22 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
An issue was discovered in secdrv.sys as shipped in Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 before KB3086255, and as shipped in Macrovision SafeDisc. Two carefully timed calls to IOCTL 0xCA002813 can cause a race condition that leads to a use-after-free. When exploited, an unprivileged attacker can run arbitrary code in the kernel.
CVE-2018-7441 | 1 Leptonica | 1 Leptonica | 2018-03-19 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
Leptonica through 1.75.3 uses hardcoded /tmp pathnames, which might allow local users to overwrite arbitrary files or have unspecified other impact by creating files in advance or winning a race condition, as demonstrated by /tmp/junk_split_image.ps in prog/splitimage2pdf.c.
CVE-2015-6569 | 1 Atlassian | 1 Floodlight | 2018-03-19 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
Race condition in the LoadBalancer module in the Atlassian Floodlight Controller before 1.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and thread crash) via a state manipulation attack.
CVE-2017-15829 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2018-03-12 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a race condition exists in a GPU Driver which can potentially lead to a Use After Free condition.
CVE-2015-1862 | 1 Abrt Project | 1 Abrt | 2018-03-08 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
The crash reporting feature in Abrt allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging an execve by root after a chroot into a user-specified directory in a namedspaced environment.
CVE-2017-1000405 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2018-02-12 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
The Linux Kernel versions 2.6.38 through 4.14 have a problematic use of pmd_mkdirty() in the touch_pmd() function inside the THP implementation. touch_pmd() can be reached by get_user_pages(). In such case, the pmd will become dirty. This scenario breaks the new can_follow_write_pmd()'s logic - pmd can become dirty without going through a COW cycle. This bug is not as severe as the original "Dirty cow" because an ext4 file (or any other regular file) cannot be mapped using THP. Nevertheless, it does allow us to overwrite read-only huge pages. For example, the zero huge page and sealed shmem files can be overwritten (since their mapping can be populated using THP). Note that after the first write page-fault to the zero page, it will be replaced with a new fresh (and zeroed) thp.
CVE-2017-1000503 | 1 Jenkins | 1 Jenkins | 2018-02-12 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
A race condition during Jenkins 2.81 through 2.94 (inclusive); 2.89.1 startup could result in the wrong order of execution of commands during initialization. This could in rare cases result in failure to initialize the setup wizard on the first startup. This resulted in multiple security-related settings not being set to their usual strict default.
CVE-2017-3158 | 1 Apache | 1 Guacamole | 2018-02-05 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
A race condition in Guacamole's terminal emulator in versions 0.9.5 through 0.9.10-incubating could allow writes of blocks of printed data to overlap. Such overlapping writes could cause packet data to be misread as the packet length, resulting in the remaining data being written beyond the end of a statically-allocated buffer.
CVE-2017-13183 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2018-02-02 | 6.2 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
In the OMXNodeInstance::useBuffer and IOMX::freeBuffer functions, there is a possible use after free due to a race condition if the user frees the buffer while it's being used in another thread. This could lead to a local elevation of privilege enabling code execution as a privileged process with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation. Product: Android. Versions: 8.1. Android ID: A-38118127.
CVE-2017-7326 | 1 Yandex | 1 Yandex Browser | 2018-02-01 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
