CVE-2021-33895 | 2 Etinet, Hpe | 4 Backbox E4.09, Backbox E4.09 Firmware, Backbox H4.09 and 1 more | 2022-12-20 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
ETINET BACKBOX E4.09 and H4.09 mismanages password access control. When a user uses the User ID of the process running BBSV to login to the Backbox UI application, the system procedure (USER_AUTHENTICATE_) used for verifying the Password returns 0 (no error). The reason is that the user is not running the XYGate application. Hence, BBSV assumes the Password is correct. For H4.09, the affected version isT0954V04^AAO. For E4.09, the affected version is 22SEP2020. Note: If your current version is E4.10-16MAY2021 (version procedure T9999V04_16MAY2022_BPAKETI_10), a hotfix (FIXPAK-19OCT-2022) is available in version E4.10-19OCT2022. CVE-2022-23501 | 1 Typo3 | 1 Typo3 | 2022-12-16 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system. In versions prior to 8.7.49, 9.5.38, 10.4.33, 11.5.20, and 12.1.1 TYPO3 is vulnerable to Improper Authentication. Restricting frontend login to specific users, organized in different storage folders (partitions), can be bypassed. A potential attacker might use this ambiguity in usernames to get access to a different account - however, credentials must be known to the adversary. This issue is patched in versions 8.7.49 ELTS, 9.5.38 ELTS, 10.4.33, 11.5.20, 12.1.1.
CVE-2022-2757 | 1 Kingspan | 2 Tms300 Cs, Tms300 Cs Firmware | 2022-12-16 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL |
Due to the lack of adequately implemented access-control rules, all versions Kingspan TMS300 CS are vulnerable to an attacker viewing and modifying the application settings without authenticating by accessing a specific uniform resource locator (URL) on the webserver.
CVE-2022-23505 | 1 Auth0 | 1 Passport-wsfed-saml2 | 2022-12-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
Passport-wsfed-saml2 is a ws-federation protocol and SAML2 tokens authentication provider for Passport. In versions prior to 4.6.3, a remote attacker may be able to bypass WSFed authentication on a website using passport-wsfed-saml2. A successful attack requires that the attacker is in possession of an arbitrary IDP signed assertion. Depending on the IDP used, fully unauthenticated attacks (e.g without access to a valid user) might also be feasible if generation of a signed message can be triggered. This issue is patched in version 4.6.3. Use of SAML2 authentication instead of WSFed is a workaround.
CVE-2022-41263 | 1 Sap | 1 Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform | 2022-12-15 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
Due to a missing authentication check, SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform (Web Intelligence) - versions 420, 430, allows an authenticated non-administrator attacker to modify the data source information for a document that is otherwise restricted. On successful exploitation, the attacker can modify information causing a limited impact on the integrity of the application.

CVE-2016-1908 | 4 Debian, Openbsd, Oracle and 1 more | 9 Debian Linux, Openssh, Linux and 6 more | 2022-12-13 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
The client in OpenSSH before 7.2 mishandles failed cookie generation for untrusted X11 forwarding and relies on the local X11 server for access-control decisions, which allows remote X11 clients to trigger a fallback and obtain trusted X11 forwarding privileges by leveraging configuration issues on this X11 server, as demonstrated by lack of the SECURITY extension on this X11 server.

CVE-2021-31924 | 2 Fedoraproject, Yubico | 2 Fedora, Pam-u2f | 2022-12-09 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 6.8 MEDIUM |
Yubico pam-u2f before 1.1.1 has a logic issue that, depending on the pam-u2f configuration and the application used, could lead to a local PIN bypass. This issue does not allow user presence (touch) or cryptographic signature verification to be bypassed, so an attacker would still need to physically possess and interact with the YubiKey or another enrolled authenticator. If pam-u2f is configured to require PIN authentication, and the application using pam-u2f allows the user to submit NULL as the PIN, pam-u2f will attempt to perform a FIDO2 authentication without PIN. If this authentication is successful, the PIN requirement is bypassed.
CVE-2022-43557 | 1 Bd | 14 Bodyguard 121 Twins, Bodyguard 121 Twins Firmware, Bodyguard 323 Colorvision and 11 more | 2022-12-08 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |

CVE-2022-39249 | 1 Matrix | 1 Javascript Sdk | 2022-12-07 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
Matrix Javascript SDK is the Matrix Client-Server SDK for JavaScript. Prior to version 19.7.0, an attacker cooperating with a malicious homeserver can construct messages appearing to have come from another person. Such messages will be marked with a grey shield on some platforms, but this may be missing in others. This attack is possible due to the matrix-js-sdk implementing a too permissive key forwarding strategy on the receiving end. Starting with version 19.7.0, the default policy for accepting key forwards has been made more strict in the matrix-js-sdk. matrix-js-sdk will now only accept forwarded keys in response to previously issued requests and only from own, verified devices. The SDK now sets a `trusted` flag on the decrypted message upon decryption, based on whether the key used to decrypt the message was received from a trusted source. Clients need to ensure that messages decrypted with a key with `trusted = false` are decorated appropriately, for example, by showing a warning for such messages. This attack requires coordination between a malicious homeserver and an attacker, and those who trust your homeservers do not need a workaround. |
